THIS AGREEMENT PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO THE WELLS BAND OF TE-MOAK TRIBE OF WESTERN SHOSHONE INDIANS TO BUILD ITS CAPACITY TO ADMINISTER MULTI-MEDIA ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAMS ON INDIAN LANDS.ACTIVITIES:THE RECIPIENT WILL ATTEND INDOOR AND OUTDOOR AIR QUALITY TRAININGS; CONDUCT AND EVALUATE EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH ACTIVITIES BOTH ONLINE AND IN-PERSON; DISTRIBUTE AN ENVIRONMENTAL NEWSLETTER; ATTEND NATIONAL, STATE, AND REGIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL CONFERENCES AND MEETINGS; HOST TWO COMMUNITY CLEANUP EVENTS, AND DEVELOP SOLID WASTE CODES.SUBRECIPIENT:NO SUBAWARDS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT.OUTCOMES:ANTICIPATED DELIVERABLES AND OUTCOMES INCLUDE INCREASED AWARENESS ABOUT THE LOCAL SOURCES OF AIR POLLUTION AND THEIR HEALTH IMPACTS, EVENT AND MEETING SUMMARIES, TRAINING CERTIFICATES AND REPORTS, EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS, INCREASED COMMUNITY AWARENESS ON ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES, INTERN REPORTS, WASTE REDUCTION, WASTE REPORTS, AND DRAFT SOLID WASTE CODES.
