THIS PROJECT WILL PROVIDE EDUCATION AND OUTREACH TO COMMUNITY RESIDENTS OF PITTSBURGH ABOUT PUBLIC HEALTH RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH LEAD EXPOSURE AND WILL PROVIDE SOLUTIONS FOR REDUCING SUCH RISK. THE PROJECT WILL DEVELOP A COMPREHENSIVE EDUCATIONAL AWARENESS CAMPAIGN ON THE SOURCES OF LEAD, ITS HEALTH IMPACTS, STRATEGIES THAT CAN BE TAKEN TO REDUCE THOSE RISKS, AND COMMUNITY TRAINING THAT FOCUSES ON EQUIPPING CITIZENS WITH TOOLS AND RESOURCES TO ENGAGE WITH DECISION-MAKERS AND ADVANCE POLICIES AND PLANS THAT ADDRESS LEAD EXPOSURES.
