The U.S. Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), through its Highway Planning and Construction Program (CFDA 20.205), has awarded a $3,650,000 Project Grant to Jacintoport International LLC to install a new Terminal Operating System (TOS) at the Jacintoport and Seaboard Marine ports in Houston, TX. This TOS system is expected to reduce truck idling time at the gates by a minimum of 10 minutes, thereby decreasing truck congestion within the ports and on surrounding roads.
