Description
IT will consist of extensive public engagement efforts, high-level alternative design comparisons, and multi-criterion impact analysis to inform the final plan and design recommendations. The study corridor includes a mix of residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial land uses. Portions are heavily commercial, providing daily necessities through department, pharmacy, and grocery stores; service and maintenance centers; banks; restaurants; and professional, medical, and dental offices. The public and institutional uses like schools, places of worship, government services, and parks/green space are dispersed throughout. Finally, industrial facilities are significant trip generators for employment. Each of these uses play a critical role in the health, well-being, and quality of life for the residents of anderson. The planning study would investigate how to best reconnect the community of anderson as IT exists along the road.
