AWARD DESCRIPTION CTL23-1004-E00 SMART-X INTERNET OF THINGS (IOT) LIVING LAB PURPOSE:THE PURPOSE OF THIS PROJECT IS THE DEVELOPMENT OF A SMART TECHNOLOGY LAB AND EXPERIMENTAL TESTING ENVIRONMENT ENABLING ADVANCES IN INTELLIGENT TECHNOLOGIES, INCLUDING FOR USE IN SMART CITIES AND COMMUNITIES, UNCREWED AERIAL SYSTEMS (UAS), AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES, ROBOTIC MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS, AND OTHER APPLICATIONS.ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED:THE RESEARCHERS WILL DEVELOP A STRATEGIC PLAN FOR, AND IMPLEMENT, A FLEXIBLE, SECURE, STANDARDS-BASED RESEARCH INFRASTRUCTURE, INCLUDING ADVANCED COMMUNICATIONS AND COMPUTATIONAL CAPABILITIES.
