The National Digital Inclusion Alliance (NDIA) received a $41,694,118.90 project grant from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) under the Digital Equity Competitive Grant Program (CFDA 11.036). The purpose of this 5-year grant, awarded in March 2025 and running through February 2030, is to support efforts to achieve digital equity, promote digital inclusion activities, and spur greater adoption and meaningful use of broadband among covered populations across Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Georgia, North Dakota, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Washington. The key activities to be performed under this grant include: expanding digital navigator programs to provide individualized support for accessing affordable connectivity and devices, as well as developing digital skills; training and professional development for digital navigators; distributing hotspots; and developing sustainability action plans, site-specific, and model program evaluation plans. NDIA plans to subaward funds to conduct these comprehensive digital equity and inclusion activities.
