PURPOSE: INSTALL WEATHER REPORTING EQUIPMENT. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED/EXPECTED OUTCOMES: THIS PROJECT INSTALLS A TYPE III/P AUTOMATED WEATHER OBSERVING SYSTEM TO ENHANCE THE SAFETY AND EFFICIENCY OF AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS AT THE AIRPORT BY PROVIDING ACCURATE, CURRENT AND SITE-SPECIFIC WEATHER INFORMATION. . THIS GRANT FUNDS APPROXIMATELY 68% OF THE TOTAL PROJECT.
