About this award

The Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration Eastern Region awarded Clearfield Jefferson Counties Regional Airport Authority $325,029.47 on June 9, 2026, under the Airport Improvement Program (CFDA 20.116) to fund Phase 1 design of multiple airfield infrastructure projects serving Dubois-Jefferson County Airport near Brookville, Pennsylvania.

The grant funds design for reconstruction of runway 7/25 lighting and taxiway A, B, and C lighting that have reached end of useful life; rehabilitation of 1,300 feet of aircraft operations building access road, 2,500 feet of terminal access road, 28,500 square yards of terminal apron pavement, 6,000 feet of taxiway A pavement plus 200 feet each of taxiways B and C, 850 feet of general aviation taxilane pavement, and a 145,500 square foot nonrevenue generating parking lot. These activities maintain structural integrity, extend useful life, and minimize foreign object debris at the nonprimary airport facility.
