THE DATABASES PROVIDE THE FOREST SERVICE AND OTHER FEDERAL AGENCIES WITH THE MOST UP TO DATE AND RELIABLE INFORMATION AVAILABLE ON THE STATUS, ABUNDANCE AND TRENDS OF ALL BIRD SPECIES FOR WHICH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS REGULATORY, CONSERVATION AND MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES.
