The college will introduce 200 recent high school graduates to research through its Summer Bridge Program and recruit 100 college students into undergraduate research courses with STEM-focused pathways. Students will develop projects and presentations using large-scale datasets to advance understanding of data science, research design, and problem-solving. The project strengthens institutional partnerships and disseminates faculty teaching approaches, research results, and mentoring strategies to counterparts at other colleges in Florida and across the country to expand data-literate workforce development.

Performance of work occurs in Sanford, Florida, with a period of performance from the award date through September 30, 2029.
