The Department of Social Services California, through its Finance and Accounting Division, will develop, improve, and maintain automated information technology systems used to operate and manage Child Nutrition Programs, including the National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, Summer Food Service Program, Summer EBT, and Child and Adult Care Food Program. Work is performed in California. The award period runs through September 30, 2028. The Child Nutrition-Technology Innovation Grant program is restricted to state agencies administering Child Nutrition Programs and funds technology solutions for planning, implementation, or maintenance and enhancements of systems that serve state and local organizations operating these programs. All grant funds must be obligated and program activities completed by the end of the award period, with grant closeout occurring no later than 120 days after termination.
