THE CORE OBJECTIVE OF THIS INITIATIVE IS TO ESTABLISH AGGREGATION AND COMANUFACTURING SERVICES INITIALLY SERVING MULTIPLE ORGANIC PRODUCERS ACROSS THE REGION WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR GROWTH THROUGHOUT THE MIDWEST. THIS PROJECT INVOLVES THE INSTALLATION OF A CANNING LINE TO PRODUCE ORGANIC KOMBUCHA IN BOTH CANNED AND EXISTING GLASS BOTTLE FORMATS ALONGSIDE PARTNERSHIPS WITH LOCAL ORGANIC PRODUCERS TO PROVIDE COMANUFACTURING SERVICES. THE ANTICIPATED OUTCOME IS THE CREATION OF NEW CHANNELS FOR ORGANIC PRODUCTS TO REACH CONSUMERS AND PROCESSORS SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASING THE AVAILABILITY OF DOMESTICALLY PRODUCED ORGANIC COMMODITIES.
