EXECUTIVE SUMMARY AGINGNEXT HAS SUCCESSFULLY SPONSORED FOOTHILL COMMUNITIES RSVP FOR 38 YEARS. OUR MISSION IS "TO SUPPORT AND EDUCATE OLDER ADULTS AND THEIR FAMILIES TO MAINTAIN INDEPENDENCE AND TO AGE WELL AT HOME AND IN THE COMMUNITY." IN 2019 THE SPONSOR SUCCESSFULLY RE-BRANDED AS AGINGNEXT TO FURTHER ITS REACH AND BRAND IDENTITY AS AN AREA EXPERT IN AGING SERVICES. WE ARE A NON-PROFIT WITH 8 PROGRAMS SUPPORTING AND ENRICHING THE LIVES OF SENIORS IN 16 CITIES. THE ORGANIZATIONS GOALS AND ACHIEVEMENTS PROMOTE THE HEALTHY FUTURES FOCUS AREA OF THIS RSVP PROJECT WITH PROGRAMS AND SERVICES THAT PRIORITIZE AGING IN PLACE. A ESTIMATED 235 RSVP VOLUNTEERS WILL SERVE. OF THIS NUMBER, 205 RSVP VOLUNTEERS WILL BE PLACED IN OUTCOME ASSIGNMENTS. SOME OF THEIR ACTIVITES WILL INCLUDE MEAL DELIVERY, COMPANIONSHIP, TRANSPORTATION, EXERCISE CLASSES, AND FRAUD EDUCATION PROGRAMS. THE PRIMARY FOCUS AREA OF THIS PROJECT IS HEALTHY FUTURES, AGING IN PLACE. AT THE END OF THE THREE-YEAR GRANT, THOSE RECEIVING VOLUNTEER SERVICES WILL REPORT HAVING INCREASED SOCIAL TIES/PERCEIVED SOCIAL SUPPORT AND INCREASED SERVICES THAT ALLOW THEM TO LIVE INDEPENDENTLY. THE CNCS FEDERAL INVESTMENT OF $75,000 WILL BE SUPPLEMENTED BY $32,143 FROM THE FINANCIAL SPONSOR AGINGNEXT. ADAPTATION WAS THE KEY FOR THE ENGAGEMENT OF, AND USE OF, VOLUNTEERS IN 2020. THE LESSONS LEARNED, SERVICES CHANGED, AND NEW SERVICES FORMED ARE SO IMPORTANT AS WE MOVE FORWARD; TO NOT GO BACKWARDS, AND USE THESE NEW STRATEGIES AND CONTINUE TO IMPLEMENT NEW WAYS THAT RSVP VOLUNTEERS CAN CONNECT WITH AND HELP EVEN MORE PEOPLE IN OUR COMMUNITIES. THIS PROJECT HAS ALWAYS SUCCEEDED IN RECRUITING AND PLACING MORE THAN THE REQUIRED NUMBER OF VOLUNTEERS AND FULLY PLANS TO EXCEED THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED THROUGH INNOVATION AND ENGAGEMENT IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE COMMUNITIES IT SERVES.
