Rsvp food delivery (grocery shopping, food commodities, student food bags) continued with no contact delivery and rsvp visitation and respite volunteers called participants. As we write this grant we continue to work amid the pandemic. Covid-19 may dictate how we will continue our current grant into a RE-competed grant if awarded. Currently, as the state lessons restrictions, 2020-2021 school year begins, and sites develop covid-19 policies rsvp staff works with volunteers and sites to adapt as needed to perform volunteer jobs safely for all. As we look to the future of this RE-compete grant we will continue work with our public health departments to ensure we minimize covid risk factors, we will update our PPE procedures as needed and put adaptive plans in motion as necessary to provide services outlined in work plans to the best of our ability and safety of all to achieve outcomes. With PPE policies volunteers continue food deliveries, pen-pals will begin in schools, currently, one school welcomes volunteers at the beginning of the year, food pantry had volunteers return to pre-packaged food bags.
