AN ESTIMATED 173 RSVP VOLUNTEERS WILL SERVE. OF THIS NUMBER, 80 RSVP VOLUNTEERS WILL BE PLACED IN OUTCOME ASSIGNMENTS. SOME OF THEIR ACTIVITIES WILL INCLUDE FOOD DELIVERY, TUTORING AND DISASTER SERVICES. THE PRIMARY FOCUS AREA OF THIS PROJECT IS HEALTHY FUTURES. AT THE END OF THE THREE-YEAR GRANT, 150 OLDER ADULTS AND/OR INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES WILL REPORT INCREASED SOCIAL TIES/PERCEIVED SOCIAL SUPPORT. THE CNCS FEDERAL INVESTMENT OF $80,490 WILL BE SUPPLEMENTED BY $43,713.
