Recovery Resource Council, a Fort Worth, Texas-based nonprofit, will deliver required outreach services, case management, assistance in obtaining VA benefits, and assistance in obtaining and coordinating other public benefits. The organization may also provide temporary financial assistance paid directly to third parties for childcare, emergency housing assistance, transportation, rental assistance, utility-fee payment assistance, security deposits, utility deposits, moving costs, and general housing stability assistance including emergency supplies. Optional supportive services include legal assistance and financial management services. These services support very low-income veteran families who are permanently housed, homeless and scheduled to transition to permanent housing within a specified timeframe, or who have exited permanent housing and are seeking responsive alternatives.
