The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration awarded $3,087,557 in Project Grant funding to Primavera Foundation Inc. on October 1, 2025, under the VA Supportive Services for Veteran Families Program (CFDA 64.033).
Primavera Foundation will provide required outreach services, case management, assistance in obtaining VA benefits, and assistance in obtaining and coordinating other public benefits to very low-income veteran families. The organization may also provide temporary financial assistance paid directly to third parties on behalf of participants for child care, emergency housing assistance, transportation, rental assistance, utility-fee payment assistance, security deposits, utility deposits, moving costs, and general housing stability assistance including emergency supplies. Additional optional services may include legal assistance and financial management services. These services target very low-income veteran families residing in permanent housing, homeless and scheduled to transition to permanent housing within a specified timeframe, or exiting permanent housing and seeking responsive housing aligned with their needs and preferences.
Performance occurs in Arizona with a period of performance from October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026. The SSVF program supports private non-profit organizations and consumer cooperatives coordinating or providing supportive services designed to rapidly rehouse homeless veterans and prevent veteran homelessness through a veteran-centered housing approach with wrap-around supportive services.
