Description

The proposed vista project aligns with the economic and healthy futures focus areas. The vista project will seek to increase the organizational capacity of the project sites while also helping people in poverty receive job training, financial literacy, access to care through outreach and referrals, and develop housing and a healthy, equitable community. The project expects to benefit low income, formerly homeless individuals and families, including those afflicted with opioid addiction. Eight vista members will contribute to the goals of the project by performing activities such as developing neighborhood housing and transportation plans, employment preparation and retention, free tax preparation for families, resource development, and referral and outreach systems.
