The Rhode Island State Council on the Arts (RISCA) received a $1.7 million Project Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) to support arts programs, services, and activities from July 1, 2022 through December 31, 2023. The grant was awarded under the NEA's Promotion of the Arts Partnership Agreements program (CFDA 45.025), which provides funding to state arts agencies and regional arts organizations to advance the mission of the NEA. As the state arts agency for Rhode Island, RISCA will utilize the funding to carry out arts-related strategic plan activities aimed at serving communities across the state.
