THE PROPOSED VISTA PROJECT ALIGNS WITH THE ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY FOCUS AREA. THE VISTA PROJECT WILL SEEK TO IMPROVE OUR DATA ANALYSIS AND VOLUNTEER SYSTEMS IN ORDER TO PROVIDE BETTER ECONOMIC AND JOB PLACEMENT SERVICES FOR OUR CLIENTS; AND WE EXPECT TO BENEFIT 1,200 HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS EACH YEAR BY PROVIDING CASE MANAGEMENT/JOB PLACEMENT SERVICES AND ALSO BENEFIT APPROXIMATELY 650 VOLUNTEERS PER YEAR. TWO VISTA MEMBERS WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE GOALS OF THE PROJECT BY PERFORMING ACTIVITIES SUCH AS BUILDING NEW DATA CAPTURE AND ANALYSIS TOOLS, AND REVIEWING AND IMPROVING OUR VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION SYSTEMS OVER THE COURSE OF THREE YEARS.
