THE JESSE TREE OF IDAHO'S MISSION IS TO PREVENT HOMELESSNESS BY PROVIDING EMERGENCY RENT AND MERCY ASSISTANCE TO EXTREMELY LOW, VERY LOW, AND LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES AS DEFINED BY HUD'S AREA MEDIAN INCOME GUIDELINES. THE PROPOSED VISTA PROJECT ALIGNS WITH THE ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY FOCUS AREA. THE VISTA PROJECT WILL AIM TO ALLOW THE JESSE TREE OF IDAHO TO FIND ADDITIONAL FUNDING TO PROVIDE MORE THAN ONE MONTH'S WORTH OF RENT TO ADA AND CANYON COUNTY RESIDENTS. ONE VISTA MEMBER WILL CONTRIBUTE TO ASSISTING JESSE TREE IN FUNDRAISING, EVENT MANAGEMENT AND GRANT WRITING.
