Description

As the agency reported it.

The proposed vista project aligns primarily with the cncs focus areas of education, and economic opportunity. The vista project will seek to increase the capacity of seeds to engage new partners and volunteers, improve operational efficiencies, diversify its sources of revenue, and provide better long-lasting outcomes. This project will primarily benefit 500 underserved, or "at-risk", rural youth by encouraging academic achievement, environmental stewardship, and workforce development. Six vista members will contribute to the goals of the project by performing activities such as improving data and media management, increasing fundraising, and forging strong community partnerships over the course of the program. This phase of capacity development is projected to last for 2-4 years depending on the speed of progress integration.
