THE PROPOSED VISTA PROJECT, GROWING THE IMPACT: EXPANDING COMMUNITY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, ALIGNS WITH THE CNCS PRIORITY PROGRAMMING AREA OF ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY DUE TO PLENITUD'S FOCUS ON FOSTERING RESILIENT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT IN FUNDAMENTAL SYSTEMS SUCH AS SUSTAINABLE FOOD PRODUCTION AND HOUSING. PLENITUD'S HOLISTIC APPROACH ALSO ALIGNS THE PROJECT WITH OTHER CNCS PRIORITY PROGRAMMING AREAS; INCLUDING HEALTHY FUTURES BY ADDRESSING FOOD INSECURITY IN RURAL AREAS; EDUCATION BY PROVIDING HOLISTIC OUTDOOR EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR UNDER-RESOURCED SCHOOLS; AND BY TRAINING COMMUNITIES TO PREPARE AND RECOVER FROM NATURAL DISASTERS.
