Description

The proposed vista project aligns with the economic opportunity focus area. The vista project will focus on completing the build out of our income supports program, developing projects focused on whole family engagement that build off of our FY19 pilot, and developing new methods to engage donors and neighbors in our model, with the goal of building social capital and economic stability for low-income families. An estimated 500 individuals will benefit from their service. Two vista members will contribute to the goals of the project by performing activities such as recruiting/managing 35 volunteers; engaging families in workshops that support parenting skills development; and developing a monthly family engagement series to bring together families from all backgrounds.
