Description
The proposed vista project aligns with the economic opportunity focus area. The vista project will seek to build capacity at YVC as the organization transitions its model away from traditional agency partnerships toward implementing and operating independent programs. This HQ-hosted site model will allow YVC to reach 10 communities regional to kansas city, MO and engage at 350 youth (unduplicated) in serving at least 9,000 volunteer hours. Eight fulltime vista members placed in grant year three will contribute to the goals of the project by performing activities such as program development, fundraising, and marketing on behalf of both HQ-hosted sites and yvchq.
