OUR MISSION AT YCC IS TO GUIDE AND MENTOR YOUNG ADULTS USING EDUCATION, JOB SKILLS TRAINING AND COMMUNITY SERVICE TO HELP DEVELOP PRODUCTIVE CITIZENS. THE PROPOSED VISTA PROJECT ALIGNS WITH THE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT FOCUS AREA. THE VISTA PROJECT WILL SEEK TO ENHANCE OUR ABILITY TO SERVICE OUR YOUTHBUILD AND CORPS NETWORK PROGRAM WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY, AND EXPECTS TO BENEFIT 66 TOTAL SOCIOECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED YOUNG ADULTS. FOUR VISTA MEMBERS WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE GOALS OF THE PROJECT BY PERFORMING ACTIVITIES SUCH AS TUTORING OUR MEMBERS IN OUR GED PROGRAM, PROVIDING IT SUPPORT, ASSIST WITH MARKETING AND RECRUITMENT FOR OUR PROGRAM, AND ASSISTS OUR DIRECTOR TEAM WITH ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES OVER THE COURSE OF A YEAR.
