AND THE VOLUNTEER CENTER OF RACINE COUNTY?S MYRIDE PROJECT UNDER THREE RESPECTIVE, SEPARATE WORK PLANS. UNDER THE HEALTHY FUTURES' OBESITY AND FOOD OBJECTIVE, RSVP VOLUNTEERS WILL PROVIDE SERVICES TO HELP ALLEVIATE LONG TERM HUNGER DETAILED BY THE ST. VINCENT DEPAUL FOOD PANTRY WORK PLAN. AT THE END OF THE THREE-YEAR GRANT, IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT 300 OLDER ADULTS AND INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES WILL RECEIVE FOOD THAT ALLOW THEM TO LIVE INDEPENDENTLY WITH 90 OF THOSE INDIVIDUALS REPORTING HAVING INCREASED SOCIAL TIES/PERCEIVED SOCIAL SUPPORT. 70 OLDER ADULTS AND INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES WILL RECEIVE VISITS/CONTACTS THAT ALLOW THEM TO LIVE INDEPENDENTLY WITH 50 OF THOSE INDIVIDUALS REPORTING HAVING INCREASED SOCIAL TIES/PERCEIVED SOCIAL SUPPORT. 100 OLDER ADULTS AND INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES WILL RECEIVE COMPLIMENTARY TRANSPORTATION THAT ALLOW THEM TO LIVE INDEPENDENTLY WITH 30 OF THOSE INDIVIDUALS REPORTING HAVING INCREASED SOCIAL TIES/PERCEIVED SOCIAL SUPPORT. ALSO IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT VOLUNTEERS WILL CONTRIBUTE AN OUTPUT OF 1900 HOURS ANNUALLY AT THE ST. VINCENT DEPAUL FOOD BANK (H16). THE CNCS FEDERAL INVESTMENT OF $94,759.00 WILL BE SUPPLEMENTED BY $40,626 IN NON-FEDERAL RESOURCES. EXCESS AMOUNT IS $1631.
