About this award
The Riverside-San Bernardino County Indian Health, Inc. (RSBCIHI) received a $1,000,000 Project Grant award under the FY 2023 VOCA Tribal Victim Services Set-Aside Program (CFDA 16.841) administered by the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Justice Programs Victims of Crime. This funding will support the implementation of comprehensive victim services for American Indian and Alaska Native communities that align with tribal values and traditions. Specifically, RSBCIHI will use the grant to deliver a range of culturally appropriate direct assistance, outreach, training, and capacity building activities to address the unique needs of crime victims in the local tribal population. As the largest tribal healthcare organization in California, RSBCIHI operates multiple health centers across Riverside and San Bernardino counties, serving over 37,000 registered American Indian/Alaska Native patients.
