FUNDING FOR THE JUVENILE JUSTICE MUSIC PROGRAM WILL EXPAND THE USE OF A SOUND STUDIO, WHICH WAS FUNDED BY A BOARD MEMBER. THE ADDITIONAL FUNDS WILL BE USED TO TRAIN A CURRENT STAFF MEMBER AS A SOUND ENGINEER FOR BETTER USE OF THE EQUIPMENT AND TO MORE ADEQUATELY WORK WITH OUR YOUTH TRANSITION PROGRAM. THE TRAINING WITH A SOUND ENGINEER WILL PROVIDE MANY POSITIVE SKILLS FOR THE YOUNG ADULTS TRANSITIONING OUT OF THE RHODE ISLAND TRAINING SCHOOL.
