THE AREA SERVED IS ALONG AND ADJACENT TO LEON SULLIVAN WAY FROM QUARRIER STREET TO KANAWHA BOULEVARD. PRIMARY ACTIVITIES IN THIS AREA ARE FROM THREE CHURCHES, A GRADE SCHOOL, A HIGH SCHOOL, TWO DAY CARES, AN AFTER SCHOOL CARE PROGRAM, SCOUTING PROGRAMS, THREE YOUTH SPORTS FACILITIES AND EXISTING SENIOR HOUSING AND REPURPOSING OF OFFICE BUILDINGS TO RESIDENTIAL HOUSING. THE INTENDED BENEFICIARIES ARE THE PUBLIC, RESIDENTS AND USERS OF THE CHURCHES, SCHOOLS AND YOUTH SERVICES WHO WILL ALL BENEFIT FROM ENHANCED PUBLIC SAFETY.
