(LDAA) to recruit, retain, and train assistant district attorneys in response to a historic rise in crime within the state. This 4-year grant, effective from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2028, aims to provide the resources necessary for Louisiana's district attorneys' offices to hire and retain experienced assistant district attorneys, ensuring the preservation of institutional knowledge and the ability to effectively respond to elevated crime rates.
