About this award
The Oklahoma County Diversion Hub, Inc. was awarded a $1,000,000 grant over 48 months from the U.S. Department of Justice's Bureau of Justice Assistance under the Treatment Court Discretionary Grant Program (CFDA 16.585). The award will be used to expand the existing felony drug court in Oklahoma County by increasing participant capacity and providing supportive program navigation services for participants.
Specifically, the grant funding will be used to hire a program navigator to assist participants in meeting technical requirements, as well as provide dedicated public defender and prosecutor positions to the Oklahoma County Public Defender and Oklahoma County District Attorney, respectively. This will allow the drug court to increase capacity without exceeding best practice caseloads. The project aims to serve 351 participants over the 48-month grant period, with an average participant length of stay of 18 months. The target population is high-risk, high-need individuals in Oklahoma County.
