Key activities funded under this 3-year award include: 1) identifying and training 5 staff members to facilitate support groups for underrepresented student groups; 2) conducting 25 focus groups to gather feedback from these student populations; 3) expanding prevention programming tailored to the needs of each underrepresented group; 4) integrating lessons learned into the coordinated community response team; 5) engaging athletic coaches as prevention partners, with a focus on male athletes; and 6) providing victim-centered counseling for all athletes. The award will also support continued and expanded partnerships with community-based victim services and student identity groups.
