This three-year, $499,863 project grant from the Department of Justice Offices Boards and Divisions Office on Violence Against Women will support Coburn Place in providing transitional housing assistance and related support services to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, or sexual assault under the Transitional Housing Assistance for Victims of Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Stalking, or Sexual Assault program (CFDA 16.736). Coburn Place will offer a minimum of six months and maximum of 24 months of transitional housing in communal, clustered, or scattered site models along with survivor-centered voluntary support services such as case management, safety planning, childcare, transportation, career counseling, financial counseling, support groups, individual counseling, job training, education attainment, and limited legal assistance. Once permanent housing is secured, follow-up services will be provided for a minimum of three months and maximum of 12 months. The goal is to help move individuals into permanent housing and help them secure employment and integrate into their community.
