About this award
The Asacarsarmiut Tribal Council was awarded a $900,000 Project Grant by the Department of Justice's Office on Violence Against Women under the Violence Against Women Discretionary Grants for Indian Tribal Governments program (CFDA 16.587). Over a 36-month period ending September 2024, the Tribal Council will implement a project to decrease violent crimes against Indian women in Mountain Village, Alaska.
