Juniata college coalition to end violence now (CEVN)

Juniata College was awarded a $299,813 Project Grant from the Department of Justice Offices Boards and Divisions Office on Violence Against Women. The grant was awarded under the Grants to Reduce Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking on Campus program (CFDA 16.525) and will support the Juniata College Coalition to End Violence Now (CEVN) initiative from October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2024.

The CEVN initiative aims to develop and strengthen effective security and investigation strategies to combat sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking on the Juniata College campus. It will also develop and strengthen victim services in cases involving such crimes against women. The funding will allow Juniata College to deliver programs and services focused on preventing and responding to gender-based violence among its student community in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania over the three year grant period.
