NEWPORT SCHOOL DISTRICTHAS EXPERIENCED SHOOTINGS NEAR THE SCHOOL IN RECENT YEARS, INCLUDING THEFT AND FIGHTS BOTH DURING SCHOOL AND AT SPORTING EVENTS.
