Description

By doing so, the district is wanting to increase school safety by adding keyless entry barring doors. This will improve safety of the school by locking the door from the outside in and not allowing anyone in without permission to enter from a staff member on the inside having to electronically push a button to let them in. Each employee of the school will also be issued a key FOB. This FOB will be assigned so when the enter and leave, the system will log time and dates of each employee's entrance and exit. This entrance will help eliminate any employee from giving out their key FOB for others to use to enter the school without administration approval first. The biggest problem right now without having this kind of system in place. Is that sometimes staff members forget to lock the door when entering the building and then allowing access for anyone to get into the school without othershaving any knowledge of IT. This is one of the biggest problems we see here at this school district in the past and present. Having these locking barring doors will make this school district like the surrounding ones much safer. The way that matters have been happening around the U.S. With school shootings by just entering the front doors, we need to start improving school safety starting with the easiest way to enter, which is the doors. The students and staff need to be able to come to school every day and enjoy their time here by knowing their safe from harms way, knowing their employer and school is looking out for them. IT will also give the community in this area a safer peace of mind as well knowing that their kids, grandkids and family members are safer by the school improving to this feature that is now a thing of the future for all schools. Lincoln r-II school district is always looking out for the students and staff and always trying to find new ways to make this a better place for their communitys family attending this district.
