IF AWARDED FUNDING, EASTMONT SCHOOL DISTRICT WILL USE THE FUNDS TO UPGRADE END OF LIFE CAMERAS THROUGHOUT THE DISRTICT. THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF REPLACING THE OLD CAMERAS, IS TO ACHIEVE INCREASED VISIBILITY AND PREVENTATIVE SECURITY FOR BOTH OUR DISTRICT LEADERSHIP AND THE LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES. ALLOWING LOCAL LAW ENFORMENT DIRECT ACCESS TO THE VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM, WILL ASSIST IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY, OR USE FOR INVESTIGATIONS. CURRENTLY A LARGE NUMBER OF EXISTING CAMERAS ARE FAILING AND RECORD AT A VERY LOW QUALITY, THAT HAMPERS INVESTIGATIONS. INCREASING THE QUALITY OF CAMERAS, WILL INCREASE THE SAFETY AND SECURITY ACROSS THE ENTIRE SCHOOL DISTRICT, WHICH IS OUR ULTIMATE GOAL. WE WANT TO KEEP OUR STUDENTS AND STAFF SAFE.
