THIS INCLUDES COMPREHENSIVE CURRICULA DEVELOPED FOR EACH OF THESE TOPICS, AS WELL AS A FULLY EQUIPPED VR/AR TRAINING SYSTEM.THE DE-ESCALATION TRAINING CURRICULUM WILL PROVIDE OFFICERS WITH THE SKILLS NECESSARY TO DIFFUSE HIGH-STAKES SITUATIONS, THUS REDUCING THE LIKELIHOOD OF VIOLENT ENCOUNTERS AND ENHANCING COMMUNITY SAFETY. THE IMPLICIT BIAS CURRICULUM, DEVELOPED BY A DEPUTY EXPERIENCED IN CRISIS INTERVENTION AND DIVERSITY TRAINING, WILL ENCOURAGE OFFICERS TO RECOGNIZE AND CHALLENGE THEIR UNCONSCIOUS BIASES, FOSTERING FAIR AND UNBIASED LAW ENFORCEMENT. THE DUTY TO INTERVENE CURRICULUM WILL INSTILL IN OFFICERS THE MORAL AND ETHICAL OBLIGATION TO INTERVENE WHEN WITNESSING MISCONDUCT, PROMOTING ACCOUNTABILITY WITHIN THE FORCE.
