Description
The training, once designed, will be implemented over a five-day period consisting of eight-hour sessions each day. Four members of the peer support team will lead instruction each day, while the remaining department roster will be broken into groups that will attend any one of the five sessions. Grant funding will support overtime costs to attend trainings and support separate training sessions that will be open to individuals from partner agencies outside the town of carmel police department, seeking to share these important tools with as broad a pool of fellow officers as possible. Funding will also support a subscription fee for the codicoshield law enforcement wellness APP.
