The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has awarded a $2,188,548 Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Program (CFDA 64.033) grant to Goodwill Industries of New Mexico. The purpose of this Project Grant is to provide supportive services, including outreach, case management, assistance in obtaining VA and public benefits, and temporary financial assistance, to very low-income veteran families who are residing in permanent housing, homeless and scheduled to become residents of permanent housing, or have recently exited permanent housing and are seeking other housing. The grant will fund Goodwill Industries of New Mexico's efforts to coordinate and deliver these critical services to support veteran families in achieving and maintaining housing stability, with the award period running from September 30, 2025 to September 30, 2026.
