Description

The expansion of these programs will add new sampling sites and engage environmental justice communities in the mill creek watershed. The blue team youth workforce education program will assist in the efforts of educating youths from surrounding communities to sample, run monitoring tests, and engage with the target neighborhoods. Mill creek alliance's (MCA) collaboration with the university of cincinnati will allow for the recruitment of youth into this program as well as MCA's green corps workforce development program. The blue team youths will be paired with existing sampling teams where experts will help them gain first hand sampling experience as well as environmental career education.
