THIS PROJECT WILL DEVELOP AND CONDUCT WEBINAR TRAININGS ON A RANGE OF TOPICS TO SUPPORT IDENTIFICATION, MANAGEMENT AND SAFE DISPOSAL OF CHEMICALS AND TOXIC SUBSTANCES AND SUPPORT ON SITE VISITS TO CREATE INVENTORIES OF ON SITE CHEMICALS FOR SAFE MANAGEMENT AND DISPOSAL BENEFITTING SCHOOLS IN WESTERN-CENTRAL NEW HAMPSHIRE AND VERMONT.ACTIVITIES:THESE FUNDS WILL BE USED TO DEVELOP AND DELIVER TRAINING MATERIALS AND PROVIDE TRAININGS ON A RANGE OF TOPICS INCLUDING. HAZARDOUS MATERIALS CONSULTING WILL PROVIDE TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO SUPPORT LIVE TRAINING WEBINARS, TRAINING TO FIRE SAFETY AUTHORITIES AND SCHOOL PERSONNEL ON A WIDE RANGE OF TOPICS SUPPORTING SOUND IDENTIFICATION, INVENTORY, STORAGE AND MANAGEMENT OF CHEMICALS AND TOXIC SUBSTANCES IN THE SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT. SERVICES WILL ALSO INCLUDE HELPING PROVIDE ON SITE VISITS FOR CHEMICAL INVENTORIES AND EVALUATION ON ON SITE SUPPLIES INCLUDING DETERMINING ANY CHEMICALS WHICH SHOULD BE REMOVED AND/OR PROPERLY DISPOSED. ANNE MACEVAN, CPA WILL PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL AUDIT AND ACCOUNTING SERVICES TO HELP TRACK EXPENSES AND HELP ENSURE SOUND MANAGEMENT OF AWARDED FUNDS. OUTCOMES:EXPECTED DELIVERABLES INCLUDE AT LEAST 12 LIVE TRAINING WEBINARS, REACHING AT LEAST 50 SCHOOLS AND 150 SCHOOL STAFF WHICH WILL GREATLY INCREASE THE NUMBER OF TRAINED INDIVIDUALS AND MINIMIZE RISK OF STUDENT EXPOSURE TO CHEMICAL AND TOXIC HAZARDS IN PRIORITY SCHOOLS. THE PROJECT WILL ALSO PROVIDE ON SITE ASSISTANCE TO AT LEAST 10 SCHOOLS IN NEW HAMPSHIRE AND VERMONT INCLUDING CREATING CHEMICAL INVENTORIES TO SAFELY STORE, MANAGE AND MAINTAIN ANY CHEMICAL OR TOXIC SUBSTANCES IDENTIFIED SUPPORTING SAFE DISPOSAL OF MATERIALS.
