About this award

The Department of Housing and Urban Development's Assistant Secretary for Community Planning and Development awarded County of Oakland, Michigan $320,372 in Emergency Solutions Grant (CFDA 14.231) funding on September 24, 2025, for homelessness response infrastructure including street outreach, emergency shelter, and rapid re-housing services. The award carries a period of performance through September 23, 2027, with place of performance in Pontiac, Michigan.

The Emergency Solutions Grant program authorizes HUD to make formula grants to states, units of general-purpose local government, and territories for five program components: street outreach, emergency shelter, homelessness prevention, rapid re-housing assistance, and homeless management information systems (HMIS), along with eligible administrative activities as defined in 24 CFR 576.101 through 576.107.
