About this award

The Department of Housing and Urban Development Assistant Secretary for Community Planning and Development awarded The County of Lake Illinois $221,534 under the Emergency Solutions Grant Program (CFDA 14.231) on September 16, 2025.

Lake County administers this award as a prime recipient alongside other HUD Community Planning and Development grants, including a $1.463 million Home Investment Partnerships Program formula award and multiple Community Development Block Grant awards. The county passes through ESG and other federal funds to nonprofit providers, developers, and community partners.
