About this award
The Department of Public Safety Louisiana received a $804,463.56 Formula Grant under the National Priority Safety Programs (CFDA 20.616) from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on October 1, 2023. This grant funding supports the state's implementation of alcohol-impaired driving countermeasures, mandatory alcohol-ignition interlock laws, and 24/7 sobriety programs to enhance traffic safety and reduce crashes, injuries, and fatalities across Louisiana's roadways.
As part of this effort, the Department of Public Safety Louisiana awarded a sub-grant to Graham Group Interactive, Inc. (d/b/a Graham Group Inc.), a for-profit advertising agency, to develop and implement a comprehensive media plan, including paid media placement and creative services, for national and state highway safety mobilizations covering multiple facets of traffic safety. These media campaigns will complement Louisiana's broader strategies outlined in its approved highway safety plan, which utilizes a combination of state and federal funds to execute data-driven initiatives in partnership with law enforcement, nonprofits, media firms, and universities.
