About this award

The Arizona Governor's Office of Highway Safety (AGOHS), doing business as GHA, was awarded a $125,109.34 formula grant by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) under the National Priority Safety Programs (CFDA 20.616). This grant, effective October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2027, will support AGOHS's statewide efforts to reduce motor vehicle crashes, injuries, and fatalities in Arizona.

AGOHS will utilize these federal resources to conduct enforcement campaigns, public education initiatives, training programs, and data system enhancements aligned with Arizona's approved Highway Safety Plan. As the designated State Highway Safety Office, AGOHS will work collaboratively with state and local agencies to deliver these lifesaving interventions across the state.
