Description
- Project description
- Scope: louisiana's strategic highway safety plan (SHSP) is a plan to reduce traffic fatalities and injuries on louisiana's roadways through widespread collaboration and an integrated 4E approach: engineering, education, enforcement and emergency services. The primary task of this sponsor/state agreement will be to implement and sustain the SHSP by bridging all gaps between dotd district personnel, local governments, local law enforcement, the community, local civic organizations, emergency services/hospitals, school boards, and other safety partners within the region. Tasks include plan development, implementation and evaluation, GIS, marketing, education, develop partnerships.
