Through this funding, GDOE will implement evidence-based prevention education addressing abstinence and contraception to reduce teen pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, and HIV/AIDS. Programs will incorporate instruction on at least three of six adulthood preparation topics including healthy relationships, adolescent development, financial literacy, parent-child communication, educational and career success, and healthy life skills. All funded services must be medically accurate, age-appropriate, and culturally responsive, with particular emphasis on reaching vulnerable and at-risk populations including youth in foster care, juvenile justice systems, victims of human trafficking, and homeless or runaway youth across Guam's public school system.Federal Grant Award Summary
